I have hit a snag in my ability to work on my site and update it like I want. My laptop has decided it does not want to play nice anymore; upon locking up and me force a reboot, it came up requesting a BIOS password. A password which I did not set.

Come to find out it is a known issue with the BIOS of my Toshiba which is good that they are aware of it. They even have an updated BIOS to upgrade to prevent the issue. Unfortunately, you have to fix it before it breaks. I am going to send it off to be fixed because they are supposed to fix it for free, but in a sense it is dead and must be in computer heaven. Now I just have to wait for the second coming of my laptop.

This is why I cannot update the site as easily and cannot complete the change I was making. I can really on update from work right now and work comes first.

It did get me looking at replacement laptops and I have decided that I will get a new one in October when Windows 7 comes out. Let me scratch that, I will be getting a new machine when Windows 7 comes out, but I think it will be a netbook instead of a laptop. I want something I can slide into a cargo pocket on a pair of jeans and take with me. Then I will have a better opportunity to write on the go.
